Some of our staff did a First Aid Level 1 CPR course with Pulse Point which sought to update skills and enhance professional development ⛑. It was a fantastic learning experience and the informative presentations were life changing! The staff then had to apply their knowledge in a test and a practical demonstration, which was anxiety provoking but empowering as well 💊! Striving for dynamic and individual growth and development, Glenoaks is an entrenched remedial and special needs school that aspires to support the different learning requirements of your child with an inclusive approach.
Glenoaks has served the community for 40 years during which its operational model has evolved to suit and support the individual needs of our learners. In our remedial and special needs capacity, we have well-supported streams each with a dedicated Head of Department. Here, we cater for learners with a broad range of abilities and barriers to learning, all of whom are accommodated in an appropriate stream to optimise their learning potential. At Glenoaks, our learners are required and expected to abide by our five important school rules which are enforced daily. This chart is visible in the classrooms. The merit and demerit system follows the demonstration or transgression of any rule.
